About Us
Welcome to the Island!
This is our family. We have three little girls, Layken, Ocean, and Gracie.
We spent almost 10 years traveling the country and working construction projects for energy companies from Texas to Pennsylvania. Moving from state to state each year, we began to get burnt-out, and decided to make a goal to build a home, quit our jobs, and move to Florida within two years. After about a year, we came to visit the area and just couldn’t wait any longer. We quit our jobs that day and officially moved to Florida. We did not have any work lined-up or family here. We just had each other and a desire to live a more fulfilled life in a beautiful area.
We’ve lived here a few years now and we love Anna Maria Island. The vibe, views, weather, people, culture, history. It’s a wonderful place to be and we could not be more grateful to be here.
We began The Island Golf Carts in 2022 as a way to help solve a shortage of rental golf carts on Anna Maria during the summer and also to help us be more connected to the Island and it’s people. Meeting new people and visitors from around the world and being a small part of their vacation has been very gratifying for us.
